Playing for Presidents
I have played piano on two occasions for President Bill Clinton in his capacity as pianist to Colorado Governor Roy Romer, and once for President George W. Bush at the Adams Mark Hotel in Denver. In December 1999, Kent was honored to play piano at the White House in Washington, D. C. for a United States Treasury Department reception. In August 2008, Kent provided classy piano music at key events associated with the Democratic National Convention held in Denver, including a reception where he entertained House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
